| Bad Santa! |
You must excuse my absence; I have become a little negligent since Indy turned ONE! Can you believe it?! I am still convinced that it was yesterday that I told friends and family that Dan and I were pregnant. Indy is now almost 14 months old! She's crawling all over the place, chatting about everything, although it's somewhat tough to decipher all that she says, and she's getting ready to take her first step! It's outstanding to see her develop into a little girl. Oh, she is also a Little Miss Sassy Pants! She says "Hiiiyeee", with a dramatic and repeated flip of her wrist. She will throw her little wave into your face and demand a "hello" in return. She cracks us up! She's also incredibly congratulatory to herself. When she learned to crawl, she clapped and cheered for herself. When she could pull herself up on furniture, she yelled "Yeah", as if she was completely satisfied with herself. She is now standing up on her own and the celebration is a trio of yays, yeahs, and clapping! Too cute.
Anyway, here are some high points from the past eight weeks:
1. Indy turned one and indulged in her first cupcake! So yummy. She had a great day! (Disclaimer: her birthday was celebrated on Thanksgiving. We all got the flu on her actual birthday--low point, indeed.)
2. Indy gets to open presents! She's getting the hang of it now too! I am sure we're in for trouble:
